For Christ to be proclaimed across the entire state of Nebraska, giving every individual an authentic opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel
To see the Body of Christ recapture her call to the Great Commission, then uniting around that call, to be strengthened and to work together toward its fulfillment
To serve the Body of Christ as a catalyst for evangelism, accelerating the emergence of the movement of God

Structure
Mission Nebraska’s structure is depicted in the circle diagram and description below.
Vision Giver. The innermost circle represents Jesus Christ, who is the center and source of all we do. Light could be drawn emanating from this circle shining on each of the other circles, illustrating that He is the One who imparts His vision and direction to each individual involved.
Vision Keepers. The second circle represents the co-founders of Mission Nebraska, Ron Brown and Stan Parker, to whom God first entrusted the vision of this ministry. They are accountable to Him for listening to the rest of the Body and staying true to the vision.
Vision Shapers. The men and women serving in the third circle provide expertise, wisdom and guidance for this ministry. They serve in the capacities of the Board of Directors, as well as a “multitude of counselors” who provide counsel on an “as needed”
basis.
Vision Players. In the fourth circle are those who are actively involved in specific aspects of ministry within Mission Nebraska. Made up of supported & volunteer team members who interface with the Body of Christ across the state, they empower the Vision Partners to fulfill the purposes of God for their local area & across the state!
Vision Partners. All who are part of the Body of Christ across the state of Nebraska can be part of the fifth circle. Across denominational, racial and socioeconomic lines, these believers are responding to God’s call to come together and reach our state for Christ.
Vision Impact. Those within the sixth circle are individuals within the state who do not yet know Christ personally; they are the reason Mission Nebraska exists. Impact occurs when they are presented with an authentic opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
The sixth circle, Vision Impact, surrounds us every day. Each one of us knows someone who needs Christ. Are you willing to enter in and become a partner, actively seeking to give every individual in your sphere of influence an authentic opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ? Will you take up the towel and serve the purposes of God in your community
Strategy
God is purposing something new in Nebraska! We believe God is wanting to see Christ proclaimed across the entire state of Nebraska, giving every individual an authentic opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel…. Let that sink in for a minute! That is no small task! We are talking about a comprehensive evangelistic outreach that literally impacts every individual in every county of this state! This is not something that we have seen happen in our lifetime! Therefore, two things are clear to us. First, it will only come about by the hand of God. And second, it will only happen if we are willing to allow God to usher in something new! If we continue to do the same things, we will continue to get the same results!
We believe God is desiring to bring about an evangelistic movement that sweeps across the entire state!
We believe God has raised up Mission Nebraska as a catalyst, to accelerate the rate of this movement on a local and state level.
On a local level, our role is to facilitate the emergence of the local expression of the Movement. This will happen as we identify and begin relationships with those God is raising up to lead a unified Body of Christ into the harvest. Through these relationships, we will seek to resource these men and women as they discern and respond to God’s unique plan for their area.
On a state level, our role is to originate the vehicle that will allow the Movement to be expressed state-wide. This will happen as we create the network that links the individual local expressions into a united whole, creating an unprecedented level of evangelistic synergy that positions the Body of Christ to fulfill God’s vision for Nebraska!! |
